VIKINGS SIGN STAR FORWARD YENRI JIBB

BRIGHTON — The Brighton Vikings have made high-octane forward Yenri Jibb the first signing in franchise history.

Jibb, an Oshawa, Ont. product, tallied 90 points (34g, 56a) in 50 games last season split between the Tottenham Railers and Durham Roadrunners.

A dynamic forward, he was instrumental in the Roadrunners' playoff push to the South Division final — and now reunites with Vikings head coach Dennis Sicard in Brighton.

The signing of Jibb is an immediate splash for the Vikings, who expect to compete for a championship in their inaugural season.
