VIKINGS WELCOME MAYOR OSTRANDER AT KICK-OFF EVENT

The Vikings celebrated their official launch last weekend, welcoming Brighton Mayor Brian Ostrander and Parks & Recreation Manager Vicki Hallam to a kick-off event at King Edward Park Arena.

Led by accomplished head coach Dennis Sicard, who led the Durham Roadrunners to the division final this past spring, the Vikings expect to ice an immediately competitive team that the Municipality of Brighton will be proud of.

The team will play home games on Saturday evenings at King Edward Park Arena; further details regarding tickets, sponsorships and the official 2026-27 GMHL schedule will be shared at a later date.
